Career choice
In order to properly determine where your interests and ambitions really lie, it is advisable to take a career test.
The career test at the Career Zone examines to what extent the following characteristics apply to you: Social (So), Conventional (Co), Artistic (Ar), Entrepreneurial (En), Investigative (In) and Realistic (Re). Everyone possesses these characteristics to some extent, but the characteristic(s) that is (are) the most dominant, determinea(s) your professional personality. After completing the test a summary you will get a summary of personality profiles and corresponding professions.
Assignment:
- Take the Career test.
- At the end of the test you will be asked to fill in some data. You can skip this if you prefer not to. You will still get the result of the test.
- Read the report carefully so that it is clear how you should interpret the results.
- Also save your test results (pdf) in your Career Planning folder, for easy access.
- Review your results. Do you recognize the outcome? What stands out?
- Log the results (personality profiles and corresponding professions) in your Career Planning work document. Then indicate whether you recognize yourself in the personality profiles or not.
- Which development tips came out of the career test and how would you like to apply them in the coming year?
- Reflect on the type of professions that suits you best (based on your test result). What are your ideas about these professions. Describe your thoughts in the working document.
