Step 2. Explore the labour market (Career profile)

In the previous step, you worked on your personal profile (Know yourself). In this step, Explore the labour market, you will try to make your Personal career profile more concrete by doing a few assignments.

Your profile consists of a combination of what you have to offer (personal profile) and what is in demand (labour market). The better you are able to articulate your personal profile and 'your desired labour market', the more targeted you will be able to find a job that suits you.

In order to be able to fill in the job profile, you will first have to find out what your interests are. Think of interests in relation to types of work, type of organisation, people, working conditions. You can find the corresponding assignments on the Personal career profile page.

After these assignments, with which you can already partly fill in your personal career profile, there will be an explanation of a specific way in which you can gain more insight into a job or organisation. That is, by having (informative) interviews with people from the work field. This is called networking.

The assignments in this section will provide you with new information that you can add to your Personal career profile, thereby completing this step.
