Personality

What are your strengths and weaknesses? What threats are associated with them? It helps to get to know yourself a little better when looking for a job.

People's personalities are determined by their personality traits and behaviour. For example, someone's personality can be described as friendly and sensitive. The Career Zone core personality test gives you more insight into your personality on the following five scales, the so-called "Big Five":

  • Emotional stability
  • Extraversion
  • Conscientiousness
  • Friendliness
  • Openness
  • Take the Personality Test.
  • At the end of the test, you will be asked to enter some information. You can skip this if you prefer not to. You will still receive the test results.
  • Read the report carefully so that you know how to interpret the results.
  • Save your test results (PDF) in your Career Planning folder for easy access.

  • Review your results. Are they recognisable? What stands out?
  • In the Career Planning worksheet, write down your three most important insights about yourself and how others perceive you. See the assignment in the worksheet.
