For employers
Do you want to make contact with potential talent at an early stage of their career? Career Services can help you can get in touch with students and young alumni of Leiden University.
This offers you a lot of advantages. A contribution to your (employer) branding, up-to-date knowledge, a fresh and critical view on matters and binding potential new employers for now and in the future. Which forms of collaboration are possible?
To promote job opportunities for students and graduates, you can use the Leiden University Jobs & Events Portal free of charge. Your vacancies and events will be displayed to students and recent graduates who have registered with JobTeaser.
To use the Jobs & Events portal, you need to create an account. You can choose from a range of accounts, which you can access via this link:
1. Institution Linked Company account (free)
With a Institution Linked Company account (previously 'Company account') you will have the following options:
- You will be able to post an unlimited amount of vacancies for Leiden University students completely free of charge.
- You will also have the opportunity to create and promote events.
- Your company profile will be displayed in the Jobs & Events portal in the 'company' overview and will give students and recent graduates the opportunity to learn more about your company and stay updated on new posts and opportunities within your company.
- When posting the vacancy, we advise you to select the following option under 'Application procedure': 'External site or ATS link' and to place a link to the vacancy on your own website if you want applicants to apply via that route.
If you choose the other option ('By email and in JobTeaser'), any applications (CV's) will be sent to you via the Jobs & Events portal. You can recognise these by the sender address “@jobteaser.com”. - Please note: simply creating or filling in the fields in the Institution Linked Company account – including descriptions of your organisation and any job vacancies – does not automatically mean that you have posted a job vacancy visible to students. To do this, you must use the Vacancies/Jobs module.
2. ‘Free plan’ Company account (free)
You may also opt for a ‘Free plan’ Company account (previously 'Recruiter account').
- If you do not want to set up a company profile, you can, free of charge, easily just advertise different job offers by creating a so-called ‘Free plan’ Company account. Through the recruiter account, you can only advertise your vacancies (jobs, internships, volunteer work etc) to Leiden University students, and no (career) events. It is also not possible to display more detailed information about your organisation/company.
This account allows a maximum of 4 job vacancies to be posted every 12 months.
For Leiden University staff who wish to post a vacancy
- If you are a Leiden University staff member, we recommend that you create a ‘Free plan’ Company account, which will make it easier for you to post a vacancy without having to fill in extensive company information. This account allows a maximum of 4 job vacancies to be posted every 12 months.
- When posting the vacancy, we also advise you to select the following option under 'Application procedure': 'External site or ATS link' and to place a link to the vacancy on the University's website if you want applicants to apply via that route.
If you choose the other option ('By email and in JobTeaser'), any applications (CV's) will be sent to you via the Jobs & Events portal. You can recognise these by the sender address “@jobteaser.com”.
Note!
- Please note that you cannot use the same e-mail address to create a Institution Linked Company account and a ‘Free plan’ Company account. If you have already created a ‘Free plan’ Company account, you will either need to delete that account first or use a different email address to create your Institution Linked Company account. Keep in mind that if you delete your ‘Free plan’ Company account, all your active ads will be deleted from the platform.
3. JobTeaser Client Company Account (paid)
- A JobTeaser Client Company account offers you the same features as an Institution-Linked Company account, but with the added option of ‘multiposting’. This means you post a vacancy once, and it is then distributed across the entire JobTeaser network of 800 universities and schools, or to a selection of institutions.
- This is a paid account. You can find more information about this account on the general information page for potential JobTeaser clients and request further details via this contact form.
You can share your career event with our students via the Leiden University Jobs & Events Portal.
You can only do this if you have created a Institution Linked Company account.
For more information about creating a Institution Linked Company account for the Jobs & Events portal, see the text above: 'Posting vacancies'.
Would you like your company or organisation to contribute to an existing or new event at your organisation or at the university, such as a company visit, job fair or a workshop for our students?
