The Career Services offer events and workshops to help you explore the labour market and finding a job.

Workshop Finding a job that fits
During your studies you will regularly ask yourself what you will do "later" with all the knowledge and skills you acquire. What kind of jobs could I do? Which employers are looking for me? And what do I really want? Where do you start searching? This workshop is intended for students and young alumni who want to get a better idea of what they are looking for and what are the different ways to look for it. If you have a clear idea of what you are looking for in a job, this workshop will help you identify interesting employers, make contacts, ultimately apply for a specific job and explain why this job suits you.In the workshop “Finding a job that fits?’ You will receive practical tips for looking for interesting employers and vacancies. We also discuss how to make valuable contacts and how you can use these contacts for your career. The use of LinkedIn is certainly also discussed.

Workshop What have I got to offer an employer?
What knowledge, skills and qualities do you already have to distinguish yourself on the job market? It can be difficult to see this in yourself, because it is very normal for you and you may always act in this way. The aim of this workshop is to gain insight into your knowledge, competences and qualities. Before you know well which (career) job suits you and you can work on it, it is good to have a clear picture of yourself. Outlined by some theory about the labor market and personal development, the focus of this workshop will be on exercises to clarify what you have to offer. This self-knowledge helps you make effective study and career choices.

Workshop CV and application letter
Presenting yourself clearly and effectively is an essential part of applying for work. In this workshop you will get a clear picture of how you can properly display your knowledge, skills and competences in your CV and in your motivation letter. In the workshop you will get many examples and practical tips, so that at the end you know how to attract the attention of employers to be invited for an interview! You will learn how employers scan your CV and how to show what you want them to see.
